Copenhagen 23 Mile Bike Ride

We left Copenhagen in the morning on our bikes to the Louisiana Museum. I was absolutely amazed that we could ride our bikes on safe and stress-free bike facilities for almost 23 miles through the big city, smaller towns, the countryside, and along the ocean.

When traveling through Copenhagen, the bike facilities are generally separated from the sidewalk by a 2-inch height difference and separated from the vehicles by a 6-inch height difference.

We traveled through forests and little towns until we reached the world's oldest amusement park by the name of Bakken in the woods of Dyrehaven. The amusement park is full of games, rides, and restaurants. The park is unique in that it does not allow big brands and neon signs are banned.

We were happily surprised to find out that we could enter the amusement park for free so we decided to take a look around.

We just couldn't resist so we went on the tornado ride.

After the ride, we traveled through the countryside and along the water.

We finally arrived at the Louisiana Museum which had the most amazing views, food, and art.

At the end of the long day, we decided to take our bikes on the train and head back to Copenhagen.  I was quite surprised to find out that only 6 bikes were allowed on the train so unfortunately our group had to split up and take different trains.  Besides having to split up, we had quite an amazing day!
